Tuesday, November 8th, 2005. Today is election day. I doubt Galt would approve of either NY Mayoral candidate. It does make me wonder, though ... Where were the elections in Galt's Gulch?

i would take the oath. i feel that this oath means that you realize how important your life is and to fully enjoy it and experience it that you must solely live it for yourself and do the same for another person. Also to live your life on your own is to use your judgement and brains and not depend on another to do that for you.
I agree, I think it goes back to what Francisco said to Hank earlier in the book about happiness and how he let people dictate his feelings and toward the end he begins to to not be concerned with their feelings and more concerned about his well being.
